Window Shaker Card | Kat Scrappiness

Hello friends,

We all love interactive cards. Here I am with a very clean and simple Window Shaker Card. I have used supplies by Kat Scrappiness. Also, check out the gold accents on the flowers, it's the Gold Glitter Mousse from the latest Mixed Media Release by Kat Scrappiness.

I began by creating a window using the A2 Reverse Scallop Die (this is a nested die set, I used the smallest to create my window). For the focal point on my card front I used the Oopsie Daisy Stamps which is a layering stamp set. I stamped the little details on my leaves using the the SSS Pine Pawsitively Saturated Ink. Then using the Oopsie Daisy Layering Stencils I colored the florals using different shades of yellows and oranges from the Pawsitively Saturated Ink line by Simon Says Stamp. Once I was done with the stamping and stenciling, I cut out the images using the coordinating Oopsie Daisy Die Set.

After cutting out all of the images, I brought back my stencil to add a layer of sparkle to these flowers. I used the final layer of the stencil and aligned it to the flower and swiped a thin layer of the Gold Glitter Mousse to create a sparkly textured look for my focal point.

I let the glitter mouse dry while I worked on my shaker window. I put in some Pearlescent Peach Solid Round Confetti Sequin and Rose Gold Solid Round Confetti Sequin into the window.

For the sentiment, I chose the "Sending You Sunshine" sentiment from the Simple Sentiment Stamp.

Once the glitter gel was completely dry, I stuck the flowers onto the card front towards the top right corner of my window.

Finally to embellish the card front I used some Orange Creamsicle Pearl Mix.

Here's a closer look at the gold glitter on the flowers.
