Hello crafty friends,
Check out this fun stenciled background that would be perfect for birthday cards or any project with Sweets theme. Add vibrant colors or texture pastes to any layer of this set of 4 layering stencils for a beautiful and colorful background.
For my card I used the Layering Sprinkles Stencil from the latest STAMPtember® Release by SimonSaysStamp.
I placed an A2 size panel of Neenah White card stock onto the new SSS Pawsitively Perfect Craft Tacky Mat. This mat holds my panel in place so that I can add layers of sprinkles to my background.
I used the Pawsitively Saturated Inks in the shades Ocean, Peony, Taffy, Amethyst and Mandarin to create this vibrant layer of sprinkles on my card front.
I cut out the Large Fancy Happy Birthday Die using a Gold colored card stock from Your Paper Insider and from black card stock to add a shadow like component to my sentiment.
To make my sentiment pop up from this busy sprinkle mi background, I added a strip of vellum.
I adhered the panel onto an Orange color A2 size card base using some foam tape and finished the card with some confetti sequin mix by SSS.
