Scene Building | AECP

Hello crafty friends,

Welcome back to another fun crafty session where I am taking you on a furry ride. For my next assignment for the Altenew Educator Certification Program I have created a beautiful scene using the super adorable Cat Life Stamp and Die - for the Scene Building Class and is inspired cool techniques taught by the very fun Nichol Spohr.

Let's take a closer look at the card that I have created today.

I must say, I have always been a dog person. But after I saw these adorable kitties, I think I might need some new fur babies too!

I stamped the Cat trio onto a piece of white cardstock. Now the beauty about this stamp set is that these images are layering images. If you are someone who does not enjoy coloring, this is a definitely a must have in your crafty stash.

I used the SSS Pawsitively Saturated Inks in the shade Fawn, Melon, Cappuccio, Seafoam and Charcoal to color these little kitties.

Next I took an A2 size white panel and cut out a circle window from the center. I then run this panel along with the Diamond Stars Embossing Folder. I love the detailed texture that this embossing folder gives to my card front.

I wanted to keep the card simple, focusing more in the kitties. So I decided not to turn this into a shaker card.

I popped up the die cut and embossed panel onto a bright yellow cardstock using some foam tape.

Before adding my focal point image, I stamped a little dragonfly with his trial onto the inside of the window using the charcoal ink.

I then added my focal point images on one end of the circle window making sure half of this image is inside the window while the other half remains on the embossed background.

I then stamped and heat embossed my sentiment onto a piece of black cardstock.

To add shine to our card, I have the Mother Of Pearls Solid Round Confetti Sequins by Kat Scrappiness.

Here's a closer look at the card.

I love how this card turned out. This was a very simple project and perfect for any Cat Lover.

Also, a big thank you to the creators at Altenew for all the wonderful classes and tips and tricks to create beautiful projects.

The Altenew Educator Certification Program is definitely a best opportunity to showcase my work and get in touch with all of the amazing crafters.
