Are you ready for fall?? This my absolute favorite time of the year. As the season changes so does everything around you. The lush green leaves start turning orange-yellow, the warm weather turns to cold breeze and warm apple cider replaces cold lemonades.

For my card today, I started by creating this beautiful background. Yes!! That's not a patterned paper there, it's a stenciled background. I used the Layered Falling Leaves Stencil some rustic autumn colors. This is a 2 layer stencil that features falling leaves, acorns and other autumn foliage creating a beautiful layered pattern.
Once my background was ready, I worked on my focal point which were these gorgeous layered autumn leaves. The Layered Autumn Leaves Stamp Set is a gorgeous set for creating beautiful layered autumn foliage. I stamped the veins of these leaves onto a white piece of card stock using some Gold Embossing Powder. For my card today, I didnt't use the second layer which is the solid layer that can be stamped over the viens. Instead then die cut these stamped images using the coordinating Layered Autumn Leaves Die Set and then ink blended these using the same set of rustic fall color inks by SimonSaysStamp.
To attach these die cut leaves onto the busy background, I decided to cut a piece of vellum to tone down all the colors and make sure my focal point does not blend in with the background.
Finally I stamped the sentiments from the Happy Fall Y'all Stamp Set. I stamped these on black cardstock using the same Gold Embossing Powder to match my embossed leaves.
