Hello crafty friends,
I have a cute floral cupcake, sprinkling love and kindness as we celebrate 15 years of cupcakes and sweetness at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. We are celebrating our 600th challenge. This will be a month long challenge with tons of project inspirations and sponsors and lots of prizes.
Today I am sharing a cute card with a cupcake focal point. This image is sponsored by Crafty Scrappers.

I first printed out this picture and then cut it using my Brother Scan n Cut Machine. Even with stamped images, I like to die cut the images before I color them, just to make sure I don't mess up with during the cutting process.
I then colored the images using my Tri-Blend Markers. I added some Glossy Accent and white glitter powder over the frosting layers.
While the glossy accent dries, I planned to work on my background.
I wanted the focus to be mostly on this beautiful cupcake image, so I planned you use just a little strip of patterned paper which would ground our focal point and the sentiment. I used a paper from the Birthday Quokka Paper Pad by Kat Scrappiness. I matted it with a strip of silver cardstock by Your Paper Insider.
Now what's a birthday card without some some sparkle and bling. To embellish my card front, I added some Prism Sequin from This Calls For Confetti around the focal point and the sentiment.

I love this little cupcake. Digital Stamps can be so much fun. The best part about these digital stamps is that you can resize them according to your choice. You could also make multiple cupcakes of different sizes and used them on your card front.
