Friends Under the Sea by KS - Birthday Cards

Hello Friends,

Introducing a collection of fun Stamps, Dies, Paper Pads, Embellishments and lots more by Kat Scrappiness from their latest Friends Under the Sea.

I have used these products to create many fun card projects.

Here's card #1

This card is part of the Kat Scrappiness Instagram hop.

For this card, I first created this beautiful textured background using the Diamond Wire Wood Grain Frame die (which is actually a cover plate die, but I wanted more of an embossed look for my background)

Using a circle die from my stash, I cut out a circle from this beautiful Friends Under the Sea 6X6 Paper Pad. This would ground my focal point which is the adorable turtle from the Friends Under the Sea Stamp Set. I colored the image using my Ohuhu Alcohol Markers.

To embellish my card, I have the Carribean Blue Pearl Mix.

Card #2

Here I have used the Underwater Adventures Backdrop Die to create this beautiful underwater window scene. For the front and inside of my window, I have used the Friends Under the Sea Paper Pad. Again this adorable Sea Lion and the sentiment comes from the Friends Under the Sea Stamp Set.

To embellish my card, I have the Carribean Blue Pearl Mix.

Card #3

This was one of the cutest card out of this lot. Here I used the Scene Builder Stencil and created a perfect cloudy sky for my background (using the SSS Pawsitively Saturated Inks in the shade Marine) using the latest Stencil and Ink Blending Brushes.

To create the waves on the Friends Under the Sea Paper Pad, I used the Stitched Waves Dies and for my brown sandy beach (colored using the SSS Pawsitively Saturated Inks in the shade Cappuccino) I used the Underwater Adventures Backdrop Die. Again this adorable Sea Lion and the sentiment comes from the Friends Under the Sea Stamp Set.

To embellish my card, I have the Carribean Blue Pearl Mix.

Card#4

This one is definitely my absolute favorite. I love interactive cards! And this one here is a fun Interactive Window Shaker Card.

I have lots of fun elements in this card. I first cut a circle window onto this beautiful Friends Under the Sea patterned paper and then created the inside of the window, where I stamped and colored the Whale from the Friends Under the Sea Stamp Set and then covered the window using a sheet of of acetate. Inside the window I have lots of fun sequins. I have the Blue Opal Solid Round Confetti Sequin, Aqua Confetti Sprinkles and By the Shore Sprinkle Mix.

To add some interest to my window, I cut out a little wave using the Stitched Waves Die.

I did create matching envelopes and fun patterns for the inside of all these cards too!
