Faux Metal Die Cuts (Heat Embossing)

The card I made today is inspired by my favorite YouTuber/Card Maker - Jennifer McGuire. The first time I watched her video on Faux Metal Embellishments in 2016, I wanted to recreate something similar, but I was just getting into card making, neither did I have the supplies (heat gun, embossing powders or VersaMark ink), and once I got all of these supplies, I took some time to get used to the idea of using embossing powders. 3 years later..Embossing is my favorite technique. I love giving that extra sparkle and shine for very card I make. I am slowly learning to use different types of embossing powders and how each of them work on different types of card-stock.

Today I went a little overboard with my embossing powders and created something really beautiful…using die cuts to create embellishments with a metallic finish.
