Create a simple focal point for your card front.

Hello friends,

Welcome to week #2 of Challenge #591 of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge.

My designs are usually very simple and I like to create cards which are easy to mass produce in a limited amount of time and also which can be used for any occasion. Here's a simple example of that. I have a card with a simple floral focal point paired with some gold sequin mix and a small sentiment strip. Today I have a Birthday Card, but I am sure this design would go well with a "Thinking of You" , "Thank You" or even be used for a Sympathy Card.

For my card I wanted to go with a very simple background. Initially I was think of ink blending with some pinks, oranges and yellows on a white piece of cardstock, but then I stumbled upon this gorgeous pink patterned paper. It's called Cozy Days by Paper Rose.

Next I wanted a floral focal point which would be very simple and something that would be easy to color in. I used the Dainty Flower outline Stamp and Die Set by Altenew for my focal point. I colored this beautiful and delicate image using my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers.

The "Happy Birthday" sentiment also comes from the same Dainty Flowers Stamp Set.

Instead of the usual center alignment, I decided to adhere the focal point toward the left of the card panel.

To finish the simple card, I added some Gold Hologram Sequin by This Calls for Confetti.
