Hello crafty friends,
Today I created a very clean and simple masculine card as part of my assignment Altenew Educator Certification Program. I am so happy to have joined this program. So much to learn from some some super talented card makers and crafters.
I am a floral cards kind of a gal!! Creating something for the guys has always been soo difficult for me. But not anymore! This fun class where Jennifer Rzasa shares creative thoughts on cards For The Guys has been so helpful for me someone like me who like flowers and butterflies and lots of sparkle on my cards.
Well I have some shine on this clean and simple card as well. Lets take a closer look at how I created this project.

I started with a geometric pattern with this Color Block Geometric Stencil. I did some masking here, before I took my ink pads to blend some fun colors.
I decided to have a colorful center on my card front which would not just create a beautiful background but would also act as the focal point on my card front.
I chose the same trio of colors that I used in my previous project, which was Easy Ink Blending Techniques. It was actually my husband who loved this blend and asked me if I could repeat it for another card. That's how I decided to use this blend on this masculine card.
I ink blended the SSS Pawsitively Saturated Inks in the shade - Pearfection, Ocean and Woodsy - just on the center of the card panel.
Before removing the mask, I wanted to add some sparkle to this colored portion. I sprayed some sliver shimmer mist. I love the light hint of sparkle this shimmer mist adds to my in blended part.
I then removed mask and placed it over the ink blended part. I added some Latte shade of the Pawsitively Saturated Inks on both the sides of the ink blend blended background.
To finish my card I added a Thanks sentiment from the Fork Art Stamp Set. I heat embossed this sentiment using Bright White embossing powder.
I love how this card turned out and how easy it is to create masculine cards. I hope this inspires you to create something similar for your guys!
Also, a big thank you to the creators at Altenew for all the wonderful classes and tips and tricks to create beautiful projects.
The Altenew Educator Certification Program is definitely a best opportunity to showcase my work and get in touch with all of the amazing crafters.
