Hello crafty friends,
Welcome to Welcome to challenge #604 of the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge. This is a biweekly challenge where we have some fun themes to play with and lots of project inspirations.
Challenge #604 is going to be super exciting to all you Cat Lovers out there, since the theme of this challenge is Cool Cats. Tag your little kitty theme projects at #cupcakeinspirationschallenge on Instagram and also provide a link to your projects on the CIC blog page.
Let's take a close look at the card that I created for this challenge.
I started by a fun background. I love adding texture on my background and for this card I wanted to create a scene for a Kitty playing with his little yarn ball.
I used the Woven Embossing Folder by Simon Says Stamp and created a brick wall effect. I used the SSS Pawsitively Ink in the shade Mocha to swipe over this embossed background.
Next I stamped this cute little kitty from the Cat Life Stamp set by Altenew, along with the little ball.
This is a layering stamp to create those beautiful kitty colors. I used Cantalope to make a ginger cat! For his ball, I used Orchid ink.
I stamped the sentiment using black ink and adhered all the elements and we can call this card done.
