Hello crafty friends,
Today we are celebrating 15 years of cupcakes and sweetness at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge with Last Minute Manda. Here were are at our 600th challenge. This will be a month long challenge with tons of project inspirations and sponsors and lots of prizes.
The Last Minute Manda has sponsored these cute little monsters for our challenge. These would be perfect for the upcoming halloween season, but I wanted a little twist and used them to celebrate our birthday month.

I first printed out these glasses onto a white card stock sheet and then cut it using my Brother Scan n Cut Machine. Even with stamped images, I like to die cut the images before I color them, just to make sure I don't mess up with during the cutting process.
I then colored the images using my Tri-Blend Markers. I tried to use some bright colors in gradient to create a shadow effect on my little monsters. I used white gel pen to add some highlights on our monsters.
For our background, I used this bright green patterned paper from the Merry Grinchmas Paper Pad by Kat Scrappiness. This paper is perfect for the theme of our card, but I felt it was too dramatic for our little monsters. So to add some grounding to our monsters, I added a white strip of cardstock, which also served as a place to stamp my sentiment.
I used the "Birthday Wishes" sentiment from the Best Year Yet Stamp Set by SSS. I aslo added a little sub-sentiment "From All Of Us" which I thought matched perfectly with our focal point.
I added some dotted lines along the sentiment, just to add some character to the white strip.
I stuck the monsters using some foam tape for extra dimension and for some birthday bling, I have the Mint Green AB Solid Round Confetti Sequin Mix by Kat Scrappiness which I thought matched perfectly with the theme of our card today!
I love how this card turned out. Digital Stamps can be so much fun. The best part about these digital stamps is that you can resize them according to your choice. You could also print multiples of the image and in different sizes and used them on your card front.
