A Whimsical Birthday Card

Welcome to week 2 of Challenge #596 of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge.

For this biweekly challenge we are creating some beautiful Masculine projects.

This card is a perfect example of combining all sorts for products from so many different brands and even different occasions.

To begin with, I chose this gorgeous patterned paper which gives almost a watercolor feel. I used the 6 X 6 Ombre Paper Pad by Craft Consortium for my background panel.

For my focal point, I used the Magical Quokka Die Cut Ephemere from the latest Magical Quokka Release by Kat Scrappiness. This latest release has some really fun products including stamps, dies, and lots of sparkly sequin mixes.

Since I wanted to create a whimsical and magical card, I chose to make this card slightly interactive by using an action wobble on the back of the die cut ephemera piece.

For the sentiment on this card, I chose 2 different stamp sets. I used the Reindeer Games Sentiment Stamp for the "Flying By to Say" sentiment (this is part of the christmas release) by Kat Scrappiness.

For the second part of my sentiment, I used the word "Happy Birthday" from the A Sentiment For (Almost) Everything Stamp by Trinity Stamps.

I stamped both these sentiments using the SSS Gold Embossing Powder on a strip of black cardstock.

The last thing to do is add a touch of sparkle to this magical birthday card.

I used Gryffindor House Sprinkle Mix and Gold Shaker Tinsel - both by Kat Scrappiness.
