A Spooky Birthday Card | Lawn Fawn

Hello crafty friends,

Today we are clebrating 15 years of cupcakes and sweetness at the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge with Lawn Fawn. Here were are at our 600th challenge. This will be a month long challenge with tons of project inspirations and sponsors and lots of prizes.

I have created this spooky night sky using the Nighttime Sky Stencil by Lawn Fawn.

I began by ink blending on this background. I started with a bright yellow center for which i used the SSS Sunbeam Pawsitively Saturated Ink.

To bring out the spooky vibes, I decided to radiate out the color and added some fun green shades from the Pawsitively Saturated Ink collection. To deepen the color on the edges, I added a blend of the Charcoal Pawsitively Saturated Ink.

Once I was done ink blending, I added some black and gold water color splatters.

Next, I chose to add some little Bats on my night sky, for which I have these little bats with some stitched detailing from the Fall Dies collection by Kat Scrappiness.

Since I wanted to create a birthday card with a spooky font to match the theme of our background, I just scribbled these letters on a strip of scrap white card stock and adhered the strips on to our background panel.

I then stuck the panel onto an A2 size Neenah Solar white cardstock.
