A Cute Christmas Scene

Hello friends,

Welcome to challenge #602 of the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge. This is a biweekly challenge where we have some fun themes to play with and lots of project inspirations.

The theme of this challenge is Favorite Foods. Tag your projects using something food theme at #cupcakeinspirationschallenge on Instagram and also provide a link to your projects on the CIC blog page.

Let's take a close look at the card that I created for this challenge.

Now when it's time to create cute little images, I always look back at my Lawn Fawn Collection.

For this little scene here, I have 2 stamp sets by Lawn Fawn - Baked With Love and A Creature Was Stirring.

I used my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers to color these images.

For my background, I wanted to create a kitchen scene. I started with the tiles. I had an old brick wall embossing folder in my stash. For my countertop, I ink blended some browns using the SSS Pawsitively Saturated Inks in the shade Cappuccino and Mocha.

To give a granite and stone like pattern, I added some watercolor splatters in browns and dark grays.

For the sentiment, I gold heat embossed this fun sentiment onto a scrap piece of black card stock.

Check out the video tutorial to see how easy it was to create this fun Christmas Scene!
